My computer wallpaper right now is the Empire State Building lit up rainbow from the day Gay Marriage was legalized in NY. Such a pretty reminder of where I come from.  

Funny how this is a writer's block topic. There's been lots of talk regarding relocations and what constitutes home to each of us on my Friend's Page.

If I had to just leave my current hometown or region, I'd probably be going to San Diego, New York, Vegas, or maybe Portland or Seattle with San Diego taking the lead on that list.

I would spend the day at Disneyland, surrounded by all my friends, my partner, and my dog, leading them on a pin trading invasion of the Disney Parks. We would spend every last penny I have, which isn't much, and I would trade away every last pin I own, making sure that some of the most important ones end up gifted to just the right people ( Read more... )

I absolutely must plug in my cell phone and set the alarm before I go to bed. Without doing those two things I can't sleep without waking up fearful that I'll sleep too late for work.
